The new Moon calls us to immerse into the healing, regenerating, salty, oceanic water. A deep swell from the depths of the vast blue sea will invite us to shift our perceptions and learn from the water element. Tidal ebb and flow, waves rippling, and rhythmic, soothing sounds: the world of water is as changeable as our inner emotional and somatic shifts. You might wonder how you will engage? Will you swim? Dive? Surf? Boating? Kayaking? Walk on the shore…
This New Moon invites us to receive and sense the exquisite sensitivity of the world of emotions. It offers a time of soothing and retreat into our shells, symbolizing nourishment and protection. It calls for us to notice the subtleties of our internal responses and expand our capacity to tune into ourselves and others in sensitive and emphatic ways. Not only will the Moon meet the Sun and birth a new cycle in the nurturing sign of Cancer at 7 degrees, but it`s one day after the Neptune station at 25 degrees of Pisces.
The quality of time is imbued with the oceanic depths of Neptune, who invites us to relinquish pragmatism, and explore transcendence into imaginal, spiritual, altered dimensions of experience. Neptunian energy might feel like a mist, a low cloud gently approaching and suddenly hiding, enhancing that longing for belonging to a greater source.
