Itzhak Beery – Indigenous & Contemporary Shamanism
Dec. 30, 2020 News Update
Big cheers to my global community.
Happy New Year

Keep Safe and Spread Love.

As we are heading towards the new year with hopes and anticipation, we may want to reflect on the tribulations and the offerings of 2020. Despite the difficulties and challenges, this year was fruitful, and for that, I want to thank many.

Firstly, I want to thank you all for walking the shamanic path of self-empowerment, self-realization, and reconnection with Nature with me. It is a challenging path indeed as you may face the whole of you. The light parts and the dark sides, The human joys, and the aches. The deep heart-opening connection and the terrible separation.  I hope we all are learning important lessons for ourselves, our loved ones, and our planet.

At the beginning of the year, my group concluded the Yaku Raymi–The Festival of Water–on the beautiful white sandy beach of Mompiché in Ecuador, from there. We embarked on a life-changing trip to meet the Kichwa Andes' shamans and the Amazon’s Siekopai tribes. I want to thank them all, especially Josep Rosas and Juan Carlos Calvachi, to organize those trips

Then I spent a snowy week teaching at Kripalu Institute, and from there to sunny Israel and foggy London, what a fantastic experience. A big Thank You to the organizers of my courses Eyal, Jako, and Christian. I returned on the last flight of March 17 for a quarantined New York City.

As a high-risk age group person, I asked myself what can I do to help. So, the Global Shamanic Healing Support Group was born. Since March 24, twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, many people worldwide share their feeling and their company in this lonesome time. And it is still going…so join in if you like—hoorays to the group. We become a family.

As this time dictates, Zoom only personal healing sessions is only possible. Of course, I miss the in-person meetings, the hugs, the intimacy, the fire, smoke, sounds, and smells. But I trust we can go back to it soon. But it also allowed me to work with folks from all around thise world—a true treat.

I was also founded with Christian Thurow, the ShamanPortal Wisdom Webinars (Almost 20 webinars to date) to provide other shamans' teachings and mine. An opportunity for people who are stuck at home to "travel" and expand. Thank you to the hundreds who participated and supported the shaman's work and livelihood at this difficult time.

With time on my hand, Christian and I completed the 3rd issue of SPQR Magazine soon. I also authored four new articles on Egg healing, Ayahuasca, and Past lives -Read them and let me know your thoughts. I am working on a few book ideas as well.

I had the opportunity to be included in almost 20 webinars, summits, conferences, and panels, expanding the reach of the shamanic wisdom teaching by many great organizations and individuals. You can listen to or watch it on my site.

I want to thank The NY Open Center (Especially the CEO, Ross Guttler), which offered many of my training online. They adjusted swiftly to the pandemic. My well-attended classes were filled with an incredibly wise and passionate global audience. Thank You all for making it such a success! More to come. Stay tuned.

As we are contemplating our path and goals for 2021, please be kind to yourself and listen to your heart after this long and very challenging year. Take time to reflect and reconnect deeply with Nature. There is so much wisdom available there.

Indigenous wisdom, practices, and teaching, I believe, are the key to healing from the total breakdown and disarray we are experiencing all around us at the moment. It is the only way to usher the new Pachakuti. The return of the feminine energies and heal the toxic masculinity of the past generations. Time of peace and harmony, and cooperation between all, equally as predicted by the Andes Condor and the Eagle prophecy.

I am always looking forward to read your thoughts and feedback, as it helps me navigate my canoe.

I invite you to join me on the New Year adventure!

Shungo (From my heart to yours).
