Saturday, December 5th ~ Drumming
Chanting in the Chamber
Saturday, December 7th
2020
11:00 am - 12:00 noon
Led by: Nan Citty
and Steve Citty
This month we will be chanting in the chamber.
As the weather cools down, we are excited to move into the Peace Sound Chamber for this month's gathering. We will have a warm fire and plenty of room to socially distance.
"Chanting has to do with sound. Sound has to do with the vibration of the spirit that is in the land. In ceremony, we are the land chanting, we are the land dancing.
"There is a voice that is coming from the land. It wants to tell its story, and this is its time. Now the time has come for the land to tell its story."
~Joseph Rael - Sound - pg 41-42
We hope you are able to join us, however, if you cannot join us, set aside the time, pull-out that beautiful drum of yours, feed it, and prepare your space and joint us on the drumbeat on Saturday.
Monthly Fire Ceremony ~ December 7th
Fire Ceremony
Monday, 7th6:45 pm
~ led by Katy Koontz
The purpose of the FIRE CEREMONY is to heal and purify both the planet’s physical oceans and the oceans of cosmic thought.
At 7 pm local time, fire elders light ceremonial fires at each of the Peace Sound Chambers around the world. Those present watch the fire in silence until it burns out, giving to it what we want to transmute in our lives and staying open to the messages and teachings it brings.
Come to the fire ceremony if you enjoy focused meditation, if you are looking for new ideas and insights, if you seek to release and transmute something that does not serve you, if you want to join in the service of healing the oceans (both physical and cosmic) or if you’re simply called to participate in a ceremony that honors this powerful elemental force.
We suggest you arrive by 6:45 pm.
All are welcome.
Donations are appreciated.
Solstice Chanting - December 20th (corrected date)
WORLD-WIDE PEACE CHAMBER
SOLSTICE SOUNDS FOR PEACE
Sunday, DECEMBER 20
6:00pm-7:00pm
Please join us in our portion of the World-wide Chamber Solstice 24 hours of continuous sounds for Peace on Sunday, December 20th. We will gather around 30 minutes prior to the posted start time.
Chambers and individuals around the world will participate in this annual event inspired by our Elder and Peace Chamber Visionary, Joseph Rael, in which we sign up for 1 hour of chanting to cover 24 hours of the Solstice. Thanks again to Rick and Elisa Cotroneo at House of Mica for organizing this special event!
SOLSTICE CHANTING THEME: "We honor the turning of the seasons with ceremony, and in this way, we establish balance and loving relations with the Earth, Sky and All of Creation".
We are asking all chanters to include the chants for the seasons in your solstice chanting: Sounds of the Seasons as Given By Beautiful Painted Arrow Spring = Naah Pell Waah Hu Summer = Pell-Tah Autumn = Paah Choo Winter = Toe Way
WHEN TO GATHER, WHAT TO BRING, HOW TO DRESS AND RSVP We will gather inside the Chamber about a half hour before posted start time to prepare and welcome everyone; then begin chanting from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
We suggest dressing in layers and wear comfortable clothing.
IF YOU CAN’T PHYSICALLY JOIN US... If you can’t make it to our Solstice event, please sing or chant aloud or silently during our two times to join us. If you’d like to have your own chanting time, please contact Rick & Elisa athomica@nycap.rr.com. A suggestion: Let yourself be childlike and make up a fun song with any sounds, all the while envisioning a peaceful world and healthy Environment!
Come Join our New Awareness Group
We would like to introduce our new “Center for Peace Awareness Group” hosted by Dona Walker and Sandy Palmer. We will start with a Facebook page inviting all that would like to learn more about raising our vibration to help us navigate through these times of illness, painful division, and societal disruption.
Are you feeling the Shift that is happening? Do you feel we are in a Global transition? Are you sensing Separation? This is the time to create a stronger community. To re-connect with each other and help us all remember we are not alone during this time. We cannot stay in fear or allow toxic thoughts to guide us. It is time to take back our Power! This group will help us rediscover the tools we need to raise our vibration and shift our energy. We will incorporate prayer, meditation, intention setting, drumming, journeying and much more to achieve this goal.
Our “Center for Peace Awareness Group” Facebook page will allow us to communicate with each other and plan for our weekly virtual Zoom meetings, (which are by invitation only). Our first meeting is Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30 PM. Please look for our new link on the Center for Peace Facebook page to join. When we are able, we will start meeting in person at the Center.
