Kolo Bike Park Reopening!!!
Kolo Bike Park has reopened with amended attendance and safety precautions. The current operating days and hours will be Thursday to Sunday weekly with 2 riding sessions daily at 10:00-2:00 and 2:00-6:00.

As biking is included as a current activity that residents can continue in the Buncombe County Stay Home-Stay Safe Order, we have also received direct notification from the Buncombe County Health & Human Services Department that our bike trails can operate with certain conditions:
  • we assure social distancing
  • do not allow group rides
  • a household can come bike together
  • friends can bike together with social distancing
  • people are NOT allowed to congregate

Our intention is to remain open to serve our Guests and employ our team as long as Guests support these restrictions and follow stringent social distancing. It is known that being outdoors in fresh air has many positive effects on general health.  Kolo Bike Park will adhere to very limited need for interaction with others.  For a list of our current Rules and Regulations, please visit our website.

If you are interested in riding at Kolo Bike Park, please check out our current safety rules and regulations.  We are also recommending online reservations, payment and waivers to be completed prior to arrival.
However, the aerial activities at the Adventure Center are temporarily closed until further notice.

NEW AERIAL TRAIL AT THE ACA! - #AshevilleLookingForward

Check out our new Intermediate Yellow Trail at the Treetops Adventure Park called the Mountains to Sea Aerial Trail. The real Mountains to Sea Trail crosses the State of North Carolina from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to the Outer Banks. Our aerial trail has 8 elements that take Guests from the mountains with the mountain climber’s steps and bear claw bridge to a rolling obstacle that you glide on sea turtle, to a bridge you can try to avoid jelly fish tentacles.

Littleville Kids Bike Track

The Adventure Center of Asheville is focused on providing the best possible active lifestyle for your family of littles, teens, and adults from bike adventures to aerial challenges for ages 4 and up.

Therefore, our staff is busy building the Kolo Bike Park Littleville Bike Track for ages 4-7 who can ride balance bikes or mountain bikes. This fun bike track will be open Mid-May.

Littleville Bike Track includes small rollers, fun bridges, unique challenges and bike-based activities on a series of short loops and crisscrossed paths. Ride around and stop by the Littleville playhouse. Crash through the wall of foam. Race around the main track and break through the winner’s tape. Or ride through the green FUNnel tunnel. Don’t forget to Stop or Yield at the correct signs as you merge into the main loop traffic. There are also parent sitting areas around the outskirts of Littleville.

Advanced Bike Skills Summer Sessions

If your child wants to work on advanced bike skills this summer, we still have some spaces available in our Kolo Advanced Sessions Summer Camp. There are two sessions which include five Wednesdays from 9am to 4pm. These classes are for the intermediate to advanced rider looking to develop their fundamental skills as well as push their riding limits.  These sessions will be guided by pro level riders who will demonstrate advanced riding techniques and ensure all possible safety precautions are taken along the way. Cornering, drops, jumps, steep descents, wheelies and even urban freeride are some of the lessons you can expect to learn at these sessions.
