Taoism and Shamanism Workshop
with Tony Allicino Dominic Vine of the Owls
Sat. Jan. 11 and Sun. January 12, 2020
10:00 am - 5:00 pm

~ There are more paths to Spirit than there are stars in the sky ~

In this experiential workshop you will be introduced to the practices of Taoism and Shamanism and learn how these two ancient spiritual practices intersect, blend, complement and inform each other’s core energy healing principles.

You will learn the Taoist practices of mindfulness, body movements, the five elements, healing sounds and fusion to develop an energetic language to interact with the infinite and develop emotional intelligence.

You will use the classic Shamanic Journey, with drums, rattles and movement, to be introduced to new Spirit Guides and Power Animals associated with the Tao Wheel of Life guiding you to an expansion of your consciousness that nourishes and fosters a harmonious and balanced life.

Join us at the Royal Wedding of Taoism and Shamanism, a union of energies, to explore and experience where they meet and how they can benefit you.

Who this class is for:

Experience in Shamanism and Taoism, while beneficial, are not required for this course. Those who have a taste for any spiritual realm and want to develop their relationship with subtle energies to develop peace and wisdom will benefit through these practices. Though much of the practice is static, there will be regular body movement that is not strenuous, but is active.

Dominic Vine of the Owls has practiced in various traditions and medicines since his youth. He began his path in Taoism at age 15, his path of yoga and meditation at age 18 and his path of Shamanism at age 19. Until his mid thirties he mostly followed his own intuition and direct revelation. In recent years he has taken formal trainings and many retreats of formal practice. He taught a weekly class of yoga and qigong for over a decade while living in New York City. He spent 12 years of his youth traveling the world, from living in communes of study to roaming cities looking for meaning. After a decade of living in New York City, he has returned to his life on the wind, teaching individual students as well as classes, in person and remotely.  He recently completed a certification residency in Thailand in the Universal Healing Tao system by Mantak Chia, as well as such practices as walking over 600 miles across Spain on pilgrimage, and sitting over three months in a silent meditation retreat.
