Spring Break Mountain Bike Camp
|
At the Kolo Spring Mountain Bike Camp, campers will ride on purpose-built mountain bike trails and skill elements designed for all levels of rider to experience flow on a bicycle. Kolo Bike Park is a great way for young riders to build confidence and skill in a controlled environment. There will be Indoor activities such as bicycle movies and games on bad weather days.
The camp is for kids age 8-15 years who can comfortably ride a two-wheel bicycle. Some off-road experience is recommended but not required. The spring camp runs one week only from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM April 15th through April 18th.

Adventure Center of Asheville Adventure Summer Day Camp
|
This is the camp that parents are jealous of and campers will jump for joy over (but only briefly because they will need to rest up for the next day’s adventure!) The ACA Adventure Camp is Asheville’s best, and only, true adventure packed day camp experience. A weekly summer day camp for boys and girls ages 8-15, Adventure Camp runs from 8:30am - 4pm daily from June 10-August 12. Each day has a new adventure including climbing our Treetops Adventure Park, Zipline or Kid Zip, Mountain Biking at Kolo, Whitewater Rafting at the Pigeon River and Tree Climbing. Weekly programs include team building, outdoor education with partners such as Chimney Rock Park and their animals, environmental education with Asheville Greenworks, etc. Daily activities include swimming at ARC, outdoor games, crafts and organized fun with a break for lunch.
