Soul Mending: How to Heal Spiritual Traumas with Soul Retrieval - Starts soon.

September 27 – November 1, 2018, 8:00 – 10:00 pm
Trauma often forces the psyche to suppress difficult feelings in order to carry on, but this takes its toll on the soul. Traditional shamans view this “soul loss”—the wounding of a person’s spirit due to trauma—as a leading cause of physical and psychological dysfunction. The often unconscious impulse to numb one’s feelings in such circumstances is the psyche’s survival strategy. The shamanic approach to healing this condition is to journey into the inner spirit world, retrieve the lost part of the soul, and reintegrate it into the psyche to return to wholeness. In this class, we’ll learn shamanic techniques for traveling to the spirit world, diagnosing soul-loss symptoms, developing the ability to “see” the source of our own and others’ traumas, and perform soul retrieval on ourselves and others.
