How knowing about a past life can assist you in overcoming an obstacle in your present life, an obstacle you have tried to solve but couldn’t.
When a baby comes into this world, it enters with no knowledge, no pre-conceived thoughts no likes or dislikes. The expression is the baby has a clean slate, and each day the baby grows older, the child writes on that slate. When the slate is filled up, the child becomes the person he or she has created by writing on that slate. We were all babies and we all wrote on our own slates.
But what if that slate was not completely empty? What if hidden deep within it were the memories, thoughts, occurrences, likes and dislikes of that part of you that was here before? What if as you grew into an adult, those memories, thoughts, occurrences, likes and dislikes, inched their way into the spaces between the lines that you wrote. What if part of your unconscious read those new entries, and since they were on your slate, made them part of who you chose to be without your conscious knowing about it.
In the brief time we have within this class, we will talk about past lives and how something that occurred in that past life is preventing you from changing a part of who you are and becoming who you wish to be. A change you have tried to make but have always been unsuccessful. In the safety of receiving Reiki, you will use the shamanic journey to learn about your own past life and see or imagine, intuit or sense, how that knowledge will help you make that change in your life.
