In these deep sessions, you will be working in one room, in community. There will be four healers and four clients, with some people waiting/processing on the side for a bit after their session.
You may hear laughter, songs, crying, screams of pain– no worries everyone needs to express however they need to move the energy out of the body.
The Maori work in group, and you may start with one healer and end with another. They may rotate to work on specific things, or may leave you while they help another client process something big.
We are all working part of the energy grid, so you are still supported even when you are unattended for a bit, as your friend goes through their break through.
FYI, In the Fall, there are plans to have some training time, dates details TBD.

Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior your scheduled time. Midtown location given to participants.
Please bring exact Cash for your healing session payment, $165/$150 Maori student.
- Plan to wear yoga pants/t-shirt, comfortable flexible clothes
- Eat light 2-3 hours prior your session
- Bring a bottle of water (can bring your own snacks to eat afterwards)
- Don't make big plans for afterwards, may need some time to integrate (if you have not experienced a session of theirs before)
Note: A 72-hour cancellation policy is needed if needing to cancel or reschedule your appointment time. If less than 72 hours, you will be billed for the full amount since this special service is only here for limited days during the Maori's stay, and it may be hard to replace an appointment with short notice.

It is very hard to describe a treatment and the medicine of the Maori, I felt it best to give you some testimonials.
Old Wounds
I've worked on myself deeply for two decades on the childhood abuse I had suffered. In one session of the Maori healing Olivia performed there was a release that shocked me. She had showed me how to work on myself and in doing so, a great sobbing deep from within came out of me. I could not believe that with myself working on an area that it would open flood gates of tears.
Olivia said that our cells have memory stored deep within far away places and that even though I have shifted greatly in the past four years, with psychotherapy and other shamanic healing/practices we had already worked together with, that I was holding on to the muscle memory of/emotions locked deep in on a cellular level and the ancestral patterns of abuse was within the DNA.
She taught me certain maintenance points to keep my body open and vital which I worked on myself at home.
A week later, I came for a second deep session to fully rid this old issue, and was amazed how there was no more reaction, all had left me in the first session. Amazing powerful work.
I can say since then I have fully embrace myself that I am lovable, I adopted a new puppy (my baby) and it brought great sweetness into my life. I am at peace with all of the past and am creating a beautiful future for myself, no longer looking back, very profound, freeing medicine work.

Survival
In a mini-20-minute Maori Healing session at one of Olivia's fairs I wanted to work on healing my issue of "being stuck".
I had just broken-up with my abusive boyfriend and was not been able to land a steady full-time job that paid well enough to support myself. I could only afford the 20 minute session and not her 40 minute, and I was unsure if it would help me at all, but I travelled all this way on my last few dollars in hopes that her healing would help me even though I had only met her in one of her healing circles, I was hopeful she could shift some things.
Because I had picked-up and finally left this bad relationship, I was so "down and out" that I was now living on friend’s couches, and even in a homeless shelter for women in the South Bronx for a few weeks (and never want to be there again).
In the session, I could not believe how painful certain spots were, and when she told me she would sit on my hips sit bones to open my pelvic bones (belly down), to unlock what was hiding. I was game for anything to rid of this stuckness and depression I was carrying, honestly I was nearly suicidal.
We also did some other work where we cut-cords of energy to my ex and all past relationships (that happened to have the same pattern).
I withstood the deep pains that were being release from my body, some so excruciating I wanted to hit her, the breath work helped a bit, along with my screaming out releasing energy that I kept inside (she told me later my throat chakra was quite blocked and this release was perfect!).
The day after, I felt very grounded and even was able to focus more thinking more, I felt a peace I have not had in decades. I applied to a listing for a job at a college, and landed a part-time night-time job within two days time. It was easy and paid well for the hours.
Within three weeks, I found a small place to live and I have been more steady with things and looking to move-up in the opportunities within the college for a full-time daytime gig, now that my foot is in the door there.
Its been 7 months now, and there is an opportunity to shine my new light. I have made good contacts over the past few months at the college, and I’m in the standing for one job that would be perfect for all my skill-sets, I’m awaiting to hear back in the next few weeks with another interview, hopeful that I will get the position.
I am forever grateful for Olivia's healing and guidance.

Torque
I was hit by a car five years ago and have since walked with a cane for the past two years. I have limited energy and movement because of the pain, it’s not easy for me to get around due to my weight on top of the injury.
Olivia convinced me to come into the city and have a session with the Maori while they were in town. I so wanted my life back to be mobile, that I am willing to try anything since I am already in constant pain, what’s more pain to get back to normal.
During the session, the pain level was super high when Atarangi worked on my hips and legs, working on the muscles that almost felt she was ripping down to the bone, excruciating. I did notice after 10 minutes of her working on myself, that my lower back pain was releasing, and there was a relief in that area that has been clenched for years.
Rolling over slowly onto my belly, Atarangi was now standing on my pelvic sit bones, she slowly worked to open the pelvis for me, it was quite the painful trip, but nothing compared to the accident. Breath helped a lot, tears poured out of me from pain, release of energy, not sure a big mix of many things that ran through my head as the pain arose and released.
Rolling back over onto my back again, she began to work with her feet on my belly, ever so gently amazingly, she pushed upwards and in, stepping into my belly, during this she intensely worked the hip joint muscles (yes very painful). After my session, I looked as if I lost 50 pounds. I am large woman, and I was told that my body had compensated for being able to stand after the injury, it contorted my bodies muscles and the “shock" was frozen into my cells. My pelvic floor was weakened and out of position, due to my hips being rotated out of their normal position with the compensation of walking differently after my accident.
After the session even though I was very sore, I was able to move much easier and quicker and stand more upright. My back felt great since muscles were not pulling on it stressing the joints and ligaments. The emotions which I held onto were locked into my body. I was told that we have muscle memory and cellular memory of happening in this lifetime and from our ancestors too, keep in our DNA. I know there was much more going on and not just the physical manipulation, these loving healers carry energies from the Universe and bring peace to much in the unseen world.
I encourage anyone to have a session, it can change your life and viewpoint of your own reality and bring deep healing. |

Deer Medicine: When we are working on the natural laws of circulation – the circulatory system, the Heart – then Deer is our Medicine. Many of us are taught to figure life out, and live in our heads with little attention to our hearts. Elk Medicine When we are working in the West on the Medicine Wheel – the Water, Emotions, Chaos, Shadow Self – then Elk medicine gives us the stamina and endurance to get through the edges -- from the Known to the Unknown. As we go through our fears, we expand ourselves and add more trust to our circle. Trust is the lubricant that helps us take the "leap of faith" that leads us to unity with Spirit, and to a reclaiming of our original grace. Elk is powerful medicine for healing child abuse and addictive patterns. The Elk will bring up our unresolved grief, and help purify and cleanse us through grieving and crying our sweet tears. The vibration of Elk opens the third Chakra, the belly, where we carry our fears and undigested values that interfere with our pure will. The Elk is a communal animal, hanging out with members of the same sex except during mating season.
Buffalo Medicine When we seek wisdom and guidance from the Ancient Ones, the Ancestors that came before us, drumming the Buffalo opens the door to that vibration. Buffalo is associated with Wisdom and Abundance and is the source of the Sacred Pipe, as White Buffalo Calf Woman brought the Pipe to the People.When we pray with the Pipe, we are joining the masculine Sky energy with the feminine Earth energy, and whatever we pray for will be given. If we are manifesting from Spirit to Form, drumming with Buffalo is an ally in that intention, reminding us of the connection of prayer (Spirit) to form (Physical).
