Drum Making Workshop with Mia Roman

 Come along and join with us in Sacred Ceremony and birth your own unique and power-full Shamanic Medicine Drum. To birth your own drum is a truly rewarding experience; putting your love, intent, and energy into this powerful medicine tool will make a truly special friend who will heal you, help heal others, take you on breathtaking journeys and share with you a connection and oneness with all.We will open the circle, call in our Ancestors, guides and power animals, set our intentions and prepare our skins for drum making.
In this full day workshop, you will be shown the full art of drum making in the traditional way using lacing cut from the same hide, Thus keeping the spirit of the animal within the drum, in a day of ceremony, honoring the spirits of the animal and the tree. When you have birthed your drum, I will lead you on a journey to connect with the spirit of your drum.
The group will be intimate with only 12 participants.

About Mia Roman:
 Making Magic and Healing from the Heart. Mia Roman a self-taught fourth generation artist with a degree in business and a passion for Art and healing has become an internationally recognized visual and Mixed Media Artist, Curator, Expressive Arts Workshop Facilitator, Energy healer, Educator and Entrepreneur whose visual works have been exhibited and are part of private collections internationally and throughout the United States. Mia is a certified Reiki practitioner, Energy Worker, and Visual Artist that took creativity to another level. She uses the arts, culture, and traditional/indigenous medicine modalities to help heal and inspire. She currently teaches healing arts through painting, writing and indigenous drum and rattle making, and incorporates herbal medicine using Mother Earth and history as inspiration to wholeness. Teaming up again Irma & Eliana enter the wakeful dream world of Being In Dreaming to help empower the Dreambody by combining the use of Toltec Dream Exercises, Tensegrity® Movements and Shamanic Journey and Recapitulation work.
As we enter heighten states of awareness to shift the physical body to work and access the dream body to explore techniques of self healing, distant healing, mending soul and using psychic telepathy to transmit information to others. This work is accessed with the help of the elementals and altered heightened states of awareness. This class is creates a bridge of the warrior's dream & change.

These ancient energy-enhancing movements and breaths can help us direct our energy and awareness to access what Don Juan Matus called freedom of perception— the freedom to move past any limiting interpretations learned from our upbringing and culture to perceive energy directly; to dream true interdependence. And from there bring our gifts back to our waking life.

You are invited for a night of drumming & dreaming, as we drum we will play with call backs, and find inspiration to find power songs.
Entering Toltec Dream time techniques to accompany your Drumming. Dreamers use the energetic web of tonal (physical energy body teachings) and nagual (natural Spiritual instincts of the energy body) as we work with the mastery of awareness and intent. Stalking creative energy to expand awareness and work within dreamtime, this is called the mastery of transformation. It is a time to reclaim personal power as the wounded warrior heals, cleans and clears his or herself to become the clear channel and connect to our higher self who is called the Dreamer. Develop your skills as a seer and a dreamer to know, that which is beyond time and space. All are welcomed! Bring your favorite drum and let's get back into the groove of ceremonial drumming and chanting. Rattles are also welcomed.

Manifesting Your Dreams Into Reality

 In this experimental workshop Evan will begin with encouraging the group to think about their biggest goal & dream. Something that they really want to achieve, but have difficulty doing. The meditation is followed by a short talk and warming up to experience the body/temple and prepare it to enter an induced visioning journey to the unconscious mind accompany with healing sounds of the didgeridoo, and singing bowl.
